    It had been one of the longest days ever at work today. First off your alarm didn't go off so you barely made it into work, barely having a minute to spare before you would be counted as late, then work was insanely awful today.

    A few customers didn't leave a tip at all, some that huge bills for all the food they had ordered only left you a two dollar tip was infuriating!

   And five minutes before you left one of your coworkers, who you were pretty sure hated you, spilled a huge pitcher of ice tea all over you, which completely drenched you, and stained your uniform.

  You couldn't be happier to get home, take a shower and just relax and just forget all the troubles of the day. You walked into your apartment as you immediately began to strip off your clothes, until you heard a familiar sound. "Kesesesese~" you turned to see the owner of the laughter.

  It of course was your next door neighbor, who happened to be insanely hot, Gilbert, he was in a dark red button down shirt and black slacks, he looked like he was about to go out with his friends you occasionally saw.

  "No need to stop Frau, I was enjoying the show~" he smirked at you, you scoffed before slamming the door behind you.

  You locked the door making sure it was secure before you allowed your face to heat up, making it change to color of Gilbert's red eyes. 'I can't believe he saw me undressing! Ugh why didn't I shut the door first?! Why am I so stupid?!' you yelled at yourself internally hitting your head against the wall.

  You heard a small mew,looking down at your cat who watched you curiously, you patted her head and smiled at her. "Don't worry Penelope I'm fine, I just totally embarrassed myself in front of the hottest guy in our building is all..." you sighed before continuing to undress yourself, throwing your clothes in the wash before going into the kitchen.

  You checked your fridge for any source of food, which there really wasn't any except a slice or two of pizza that you ordered a few nights previous and a carton of orange juice and a onion. You sighed before grabbing the slices of pizza.

  You heard a meow of protest, you looked down to see Penelope sitting next to her food bowl, switching her tail back and forth irritably, "Oh sorry sweetie! Let me feed you first!" you scratched between her ears, and pulled out a bag of cat food, filling the bowl. She gave you a small mew of thanks before she began to eat her food.

  You smiled at her before grabbing your pizza and going to the couch to watch TV. As you switched channels you stopped at a entertainment special about Hollywood's top five hottest guys.

   The show making you think about the hottest guys in your building, there was Alfred he was pretty hot in a loud, kind of annoying jock way.

   Then there was Ivan who was hot in a tall, dark and mysterious way, no one knew anything about him since the mysteriousness.

   There was Matthew, Alfred's younger brother, who was hot because he was shy, adorable and very sweet. There was Matthias who was hot in the same way Alfred was.

   And then there was Gilbert.

  He was just so unique, you couldn't tell if it was because of his naturally white hair, his mesmerizing ruby eyes, his muscular build,his accent, his cocky attitude or a mixture of all of them.

   You had only talked to him a number of times but each time you felt more and more attracted to him, you tried to act cool and nonchalant on the outside which normally worked, but on the inside your heart would be racing and your blood would pump through your body quicker.

   You had noticed that each time that you were around each other, say it was going up the elevator to your apartments that shared a hallway or at the mail room, he would always casually flirt with you, and you had even caught him staring at you a few times, always brushing it off.

  You sighed, exhausted from a long day, you finished your pizza before hopping into the shower.

  After your shower you dried your hair, and put on pajamas and climbed into bed calling out to Penelope, "Come on baby! It's time for bed!" you called out she came running onto your bed, snuggling in the groove of your body next to you. You smiled at her, scratching between her ears affectionately before closing your eyes, "At least I have tomorrow off..." you sighed as you fell asleep.

*Time Skip*

   You woke up to a insistently annoying beeping sound, you groaned out in annoyance as you tried to burrow more into the blankets.

  You stopped when you caught a whiff of a strong smoke smell, causing you to jolt up in bed, you looked up to see your fire alarm going off, suddenly going into survivor mode.

  You jumped out of the bed, causing Penelope to hiss in surprise, "Sorry for scaring you baby, but we really need to go!" you grabbed her before bolting out of your apartment into the hallway with the rest of your neighbors.

  Everyone, including you,used the emergency stairs to get to the bottom floor and outside to the sidewalk outside.

  After you were outside you felt a wave of relaxation come over as you felt more safe outside. You absentmindedly pet Penelope as she nuzzled into your neck, meowing softly.

   You sat down along with a few of your other neighbors on the edge of the curb, a few of them also having pets with them. You heard a small chirp and felt a slight weight shift on your right shoulder, causing you to look.

  There was a small, fluffy yellow bird on your shoulder, when it noticed you looking at it, it gave you another chirp swiftly turning it's head giving you a look that said 'Hello stranger! Who are you?'

  You squealed at the small bird,  "Awww! You are so cute!" you pet it gently on top of its head, causing it nuzzle into your palm, 'And you're so soft!" the bird chirped proudly at the compliment.

  You felt Penelope shift on your lap, you looked down to see her leaning down about to pounce on the bird, "Oh no you don't! This bird is a friend! Not food!" you tapped her nose to make sure she knew you meant business.

  "Gilbird?! Gilbird, are you out here?!" you heard someone yell out, causing you to look towards the owner.

  You saw Gilbert, his face contorted in worry, "Gilbert? Are you okay?" he looked up to see you on the curb with Penelope in your lap and Gilbird on top of your head, he moved farther away from Penelope to be safe.

  As soon as he saw you with Gilbird he ran over to you, rudely moving through a crowed of people to get to you, "Gilbird, Gott sei Dank geht es dir gut! Ich habe mir solche Sorgen gemacht! Nicht awesome!" he gently tried to take Gilbert of your head, he chirped in defiance before quickly flying away from Gilbert to nuzzle against your neck.

  "Was?! du Verräter! The second you see a hot girl you ditch me?! You're worse than Francis!" Gilbird chirped offend, as you blushed at just being called hot by Gilbert,  "No I will not take it back! I meant it!" Gilbert yelled back, swiftly grabbing Gilbird and putting him on his head.

  You giggled again, if birds could look disappointed Gilbird would be, Gilbert looked over at you smiled apologetically, "Sorry about that. He can be totally unawesome sometimes." "It's fine, he's really cute so I wouldn't stay mad at him too long!" Gilbert scoffed at you, "Gilbird is not cute! He is awesome and manly just like his awesome owner!" You nodded as you smirked, "Oh yeah, alright, whatever you say..."

  You laughed at his offended expression, before looking at him again, your face instantly becoming flaming hot. You realized that Gilbert, your insanely hot German neighbor who was also very ripped was sitting next to you in nothing except tight black and grey camo boxers. You hadn't realize you were staring until you heard "Kesesese~ See something you like Süße?" you blushed even harder as you looked away.

    There was a bit of a awkward silence between you and Gilbert as you continued to blush and avoid looking at him as he hungrily gazed at your body since you were in nothing except a small thin strapped tank top and short blue pajama shorts.

  Penelope noticed Gilbert looking you up and down, not liking the look in his eyes, giving him a angry hiss saying 'Quite looking at her like a pervert!' You looked down at her shocked, "Penelope! Don't be rude to him!"

  She looked up at you with big eyes and a kitten like mew that always made your heart melt, you nuzzled lovingly into her head with your cheek,"Oh I can't stay mad at you with that face!"

  Gilbert grinned at you admiring how cute you looked cooing over your cat, "She's very protective over you, it seems me admiring your nice body made her angry." You blushed again, causing Gilbert to chuckle, "Y-yeah she kind of is, I've had her since she was a little kitten that I found alone in a parking lot. She's been through everything with me, moving into my apartment, 2 jobs and 3 bad break ups."

  Gilbert continued to admire you as Penelope lovingly nuzzled into your chin, before falling asleep on your lap.

  "So how did you and Gilbird meet?" you asked, Gilbert looked surprised at the questions, but smiled as he gently grabbed a sleeping Gilbird holding him in his palm as he pet him with his index finger. "I found him when I was lost in the woods once when I was a kid. I was pretty scared and crying, only because I was little so it was before I hit my maximum awesomeness! I heard a chirp and there he was, he flew away and I followed him, he lead me all the way back to my Haus, back to mein Vati und kleiner Bruder." You smiled at the story, "And we've been together ever since!"

   Suddenly a cold breeze came through causing you to shiver, Gilbert noticed and smirked seeing his opportunity. He moved closer to you until his thighs were touching yours, causing you to jump, then he put his arm tightly around you bringing you to his chest.

  You were sure that your face was completely red right now, "It's pretty cold out here,ja?" you barely gave him a small nod, completely engulfed in your own thoughts,"Lets cuddle for warmth." he smirked.

  ' Oh my god, he's holding me, against his chest! His naked chest! And his legs are touching mine! OH my god!' you were about to faint from the closeness, before you put your hands on his chest to steady yourself, 'Oh my god, his pecks are so toned, and so are his abs, and his...everything.'

  You were so engrossed in admiring his body that you didn't notice that you were slowly running your cold hands over his chest, which was driving him crazy.

  'Scheiße her hands are so cold and soft and they feel really gut... wait! I'm only in my boxers if this keeps going she's going to notice something going on with mein awesome five meters!' he panicked.

  He tried to think off something to catch your attention and stop you, even though he didn't want to, "S-So, about earlier..." you looked up at him in confusion, then blushed when you remembered him seeing you change in your door way.

  "W-What about it?" he held you tighter against him, causing your heart to race, "I knew you had a awesome body Liebchen, but I had no idea the levels of awesome! And I didn't even get to see the whole show!" he laughed at your completely red face that he found insanely adorable.

  You thought for a moment, 'Alright (Name), just do this. Just ask him if he likes you, I mean he's been calling you hot, and flirting with you forever and he even said that you had an awesome body, just ask him if he really does like you!'

  You let out of breath, causing Gilbert to shiver a bit from the sudden warmth on his chest, "G-Gilbert..." he smiled at the cute nervousness in your voice, "Ja, Schatzi?" you bit your lip, trying to gain more courage, 'I wish I could feel her lips, I bet they're soft, I want to bit them too, and her neck and her-' "Gilbert, what does Süßling mean?"

  He blushed at your question, but smirked at you, "Sweetie.", your courage built a bit more from the answer, "What about Liebchen?", he pulled you closer, "Darling.", you let your face get closer to his, "And Schatzi?" he was so close you could feel his breath on your mouth, "Treasure."

  You blushed at the answer, you let out a shaky breath, you were about to open your mouth to ask him if he liked you, but instead you felt a pair of warm lips on yours.

 You stiffened in shock before you melted into the kiss, you put a hand on his neck and the other on his cheek, moving your lips in perfect rhythm with his.

  He turned his head to deepen the kiss, you doing the same in the opposite direction, he put his arms around your waist, about to pull you onto his lap before he felt sharp claws dig into his arms and a low angry growl.

  He yelled out in pain and you both back away from each other, your faces flushed, Penelope had woken up from her nap in your lap, she was now glaring at Gilbert while letting out a low, very angry growl.

  "P-Penelope! Don't be mean to Gilbert!" Gilbert chuckled as he gently pulled you into his lap, your face burning even more, "Ja, Katze! You'll have to get used to me because we are going to be seeing a lot of each other from now on, since I'll be spending a lot of nights at (Name)'s place!" you looked at him, your whole face now red, "G-Gilbert!" you slapped him lightly on the chest, "Was? Oh would you prefer to come over to my place more?" he smirked before pulling you into another kiss.
